COLLAB is a Brisbane-based community facilitation organisation grounded in creative co-design

and community development. Their work is built on the belief that everyone brings valuable cultural knowledge, lived experience, and creative potential to community projects. Through a structured
yet flexible methodology, they support people in working together, building confidence, and developing a strong sense of belonging through shared creative projects.

Collab’s visual identity celebrates diversity and inclusiveness with a bold but calming colour palette and a playful mix of shapes. All the different shapes come together to create a logo that looks like two hands, and also two birds, working in harmony.

Collab's new visual identity was designed to reflect the community’s values and principles in a friendly style. The Woodstock Festival was mentioned as inspiration by the client.

Art Direction

To visually represent Collab’s principles and objectives as a community and to create graphics that aesthetically communicate Collab’s visual identity.

I created a pattern inspired by the Bauhaus movement but with a 60s - 70s twist, with its bold colour pairings and round shapes, perfect for collab's inclusive and friendly personality. Bringing in a retro vibe but still keeping
it fresh and modern.

This brochure was designed to introduce Collab to prospectors and to appeal to collaborators looking to be a part of Collab's mission.
